James Burke Chapin (1941-2002) was a political analyst and historian. James was Harry Chapin's older brother and the first of Elspeth and Jim Chapin's four sons.[1]
James was the longtime chairman of World Hunger Year after Harry's death.
Education
Chapin held a doctorate in history from Cornell.
Career
Chapin taught history at Yale and Rutgers.
Chapin served as an advisor to many Democratic politicians.
From 2000 until his death Chapin served as a liberal analyst at UPI.
